Bodega Bay Lodge & Spa
So for Memorial Day, we decided to spend a nice relaxing time up at Bodega Bay at the Bodega Bay Lodge & Spa. We got a deal from TravelZoo to stay at their Pacific Coast Upper Room for $159.00 a night versus their normal price of $230-$260. The deal was only good for Sunday-Thursday, so we chose Sunday.
The rooms are quite spacious and nice, with fireplaces that burn real wood, albeit one of those quick light long burn woods that you buy from the supermarket. The bathrooms are also spacious and nice. The tub is large enough to take a comfortable bath in. The room is stocked with a good size mini fridge that is fully stocked with a single bottle of Chardonnay, Coke, Diet Coke, other various sodas. There are also an assortment of snacks: M&Ms, Snicker bar, chips, etc.
As a nice touch, I surprised Andrea with some chocolate covered strawberries ($10), which were quite delicious. All the rooms have a nice balcony which you can get a nice view of Bodega Bay and Pacific Ocean, depending on your room. It’s a very nice room and we would recommend it to anyone.
